Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Practice Manager at Peake Brook Veterinary Center, located in Woodstock, CT. The Practice Manager will oversee the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring smooth workflows, staff coordination, and excellent customer service. Responsibilities include managing budgets, supporting staff training and development, fostering effective communication between teams, and ensuring high standards of care are maintained. The Practice Manager will also assist in creating and implementing operational strategies to enhance clinic efficiency and patient care.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with clients and staff
• Experience in Budgeting and operational planning to manage clinic resources effectively
• Knowledge of Veterinary Medicine to support the clinical team and ensure high-quality patient care
• Capability in Training and mentoring staff to promote professional growth and team development
• Proficiency in using Covetrus Pulse software is preferred
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Prior experience in a management or leadership role within the veterinary or healthcare field is a plus
• Associates degree (or higher) in Business Administration, Veterinary Technology, or a related field is preferred
