Hartford Hospital seeks a full-time Teaching Hospitalist Physician to provide inpatient care for adult patients with complex medical conditions while teaching and supervising UConn residents and medical students. The role includes multidisciplinary collaboration, quality improvement, patient safety initiatives and participation in academic activities. Provide comprehensive inpatient care to adults with a broad range of medical conditions. Round with and supervise residents, providing clinical teaching and mentorship. Participate in resident education, case discussions and bedside teaching. Collaborate with specialists, advanced practice providers, nurses and other care team members. Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Participate in Department of Medicine academic and educational activities.
