Director, Business Development - TRS

As Senior Director, you will shape and lead PES growth by translating customer needs into strategic opportunities and working across Anduril to capture major programs. You'll bridge clients and the company, communicating requirements to product and engineering teams while steering market assessments and deal strategy. Your role drives expansion of PES capabilities (group 1-2 drones) across DoD and allied markets, balancing fast-paced execution with long-range planning. • Develop and execute PES growth strategy with DoD program offices and acquisition authorities to penetrate and scale Anduril's tactical capabilities
• Structure and negotiate growth opportunities, aligning terms with financial forecasts through market and competitive analysis
• Lead end-to-end capture of major domestic and international opportunities from strategy to delivery
• Coordinate with PES cross-functional teams to define opportunities, resolve issues, and guide program direction across operations, product engineering, and manufacturing
• Drive expansion of PES portfolio (Bolt/Anvil) through coordinated capture campaigns
• Inform PES and TRS strategic planning and long-range growth
• Pursue new business with DoD and other government agencies domestically and internationally
• Coordinate programmatic funding in collaboration with Government Relations, Strategy, and adjacent lines

• 7+ years of business development, sales capture, or growth experience in government or private sector
• Proven track record of shaping and capturing complex DoD/USG programs
• Knowledge of defense acquisitions and scaling large Program of Record growth
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment; highly organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent communication skills and ability to travel up to 50%
• Located within commutable distance of Costa Mesa, CA headquarters and able to be on-site as needed
