DE - Healthcare Finance Decision Support Manager - Dover

In this role you manage the hospital's cost accounting and decision support functions to analyze service line profitability and guide strategic financial planning. You will oversee STRATA-based forecasting, P&L publishing, and reporting to external agencies, supporting leadership with insightful financial metrics. Your work enables better budgeting, efficiency improvements, and capital decision-making. This onsite position at the Dover area hospital offers a chance to shape financial performance in a complex healthcare environment.

• Develop financial feasibility, cost and reimbursement templates using STRATA to evaluate capital projects (ROI, NPV, IRR)
• Review service line profitability with leadership and assist in performance improvement plans for variances
• Prepare insurance renewal and audit-related documentation, and generate reports for audits and GME reporting
• Train managers to interpret productivity software and manage ad hoc reporting requirements
• Mentor supervisor of decision support and special projects analyst
• Oversee software implementations (ERP, Leasing) and STRATA forecasting module deployment
• Publish monthly service line and physician practice P&Ls and scorecards
• Support STRATA-based cost reporting and cost report filing

• Bachelor in Accounting
• 10 years' cost accounting/budgeting/decision support experience
• STRATA financial software experience or similar
