Congress Bookers Inc provides healthcare-compliant lodging, transportation and destination services for organizations sending groups to medical meetings worldwide. Our US team works with pharmaceutical and healthcare companies, event stakeholders and travel partners, backed by colleagues across the UK, EU and UAE.
The opportunity
Own early-stage sales development for the US market. You will map target accounts, find the people responsible for congress travel and meetings, and open conversations that lead to qualified opportunities. You will explain how our international hotel and on-the-ground solutions reduce complexity for medical-congress groups, then coordinate a clear handoff to operations.
What you will do
- Build North American target-account lists and research buying teams.
- Contact prospects through tailored email, telephone outreach and LinkedIn.
- Qualify needs, timing, group size and decision process.
- Deliver capability presentations and support proposals.
- Track every opportunity, next step and forecast in the CRM.
- Develop relationships with pharmaceutical, healthcare and business-travel partners.
- Represent Congress Bookers at selected US and global meetings-industry events.
What you bring
- Two to five years of relevant sales or business-development experience.
- B2B travel, events, hospitality or healthcare-meetings experience is valued.
- Strong desk research, written outreach and telephone communication.
- Organized pipeline management and comfort with CRM, Microsoft Office and Google Sheets.
- Ability to travel for client meetings and trade events.
- Additional languages or international work experience are advantageous.
- Medical Meeting Professional or Healthcare Meeting Compliance certification is appreciated, not required.
