Medical Malpractice Attorney | Miami | $120,000-$175,000

Some litigation roles are mostly emails, templates, and waiting for someone senior to let you near the interesting work.

This is not that.

A well regarded national law firm is looking for an Associate Attorney to join its growing Medical Malpractice team in Miami.

The firm wants someone who wants to litigate properly. Not just call themselves a litigator. Actually get involved in case development, strategy, expert issues, depositions, hearings, trial preparation, and trials.

You will be working with experienced Medical Malpractice litigators who know what they are doing and are willing to teach. That matters.

A lot of firms say they offer mentorship. Then you arrive, inherit a pile of files, and learn mainly by panic.

This should suit an attorney who has already had some insurance defense litigation exposure, but wants more responsibility, better training, and a clearer route to becoming a stronger trial lawyer.

What makes this worth a conversation

• Join an expanding Medical Malpractice practice in Miami

• Work closely with experienced trial attorneys

• Get real litigation exposure, not just file management

• Be involved in case strategy and trial preparation

• Build a proper Medical Malpractice practice with a respected national firm

• Handle strong quality work with support around you

• Salary is commensurate with experience, plus benefits

• Good fit for someone who wants to be stretched, but not left completely on their own

What they are looking for

• Florida Bar admission in good standing

• 1 to 5 years of insurance defense litigation experience

• Medical Malpractice experience would be ideal

• Strong personal injury, general liability, premises liability, wrongful death, or complex defense litigation experience may also be considered

• Experience with depositions, hearings, discovery, case evaluation, and client reporting

• Someone who genuinely wants more trial exposure

This is probably not the right role if you want a quiet desk, low pressure, and no courtroom exposure.

It is a good one if you want to become better.

And yes, there will be files. There always are. But the point here is that you should get the chance to learn from people who can actually make you better at the job.

If this sounds close to what you have been looking for, feel free to apply and I will be in touch. Or, if you would rather have a quick confidential conversation before sending a resume, you can reach me on LinkedIn or call me directly on +1 786 891 0610.
