Goodwin Recruiting seeks a Civil Engineer PE to lead and deliver civil engineering projects for a variety of clients. In this role, you’ll apply advanced technical expertise in site design, utilities, drainage, and transportation while managing project scopes, schedules, and budgets. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, municipalities, and multidiscipline teams, providing clear communication and high-quality deliverables. This position fits an entrepreneurial PE who values autonomy, mentorship, and building strong relationships while shaping impactful infrastructure projects across industries. Lead civil engineering design for site, utility, roadway, and drainage projects Prepare plans, calculations, and technical reports using AutoCAD/Civil 3D Manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets to meet client expectations Coordinate with clients, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and permitting requirements Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative, growth-focused culture Support business development through technical input and strong client relationships Civil engineering design AutoCAD Civil 3D Site development Stormwater management Transportation/roadway design Structural analysis basics Project management Permitting and regulatory compliance Technical report writing Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil Engineering FE/EIT certification (if progressing toward PE) Proficiency with civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) Knowledge of local, state, and federal design and permitting standards5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
