LCSW

A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) provides virtual mental health services as an independent contractor (1099). The role is fully remote and offers flexibility in scheduling, caseload, and work hours.

• Location: 100% remote (must hold active Florida LCSW license)
• Employment Type: Independent contractor (1099)
• Schedule: Flexible / set your own hours
• Pay: Commonly $60-$90 per session or hourly equivalent

Most postings include some version of these:

• Provide teletherapy (video/phone) to individuals, couples, or families
• Conduct assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Deliver evidence-based interventions (CBT, DBT, etc.)
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Manage your own caseload and scheduling
• Communicate with clients and (sometimes) interdisciplinary teams
• Provide psychoeducation and support to clients/families

Typical minimum qualifications:

• Active Florida LCSW license (unrestricted)
• Ability to work independently (no supervision provided)
• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote documentation systems
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Reliable internet + private workspace

Optional / preferred:

• Experience with specific populations (kids, trauma, executives, etc.)
• Multistate licensure (can increase referrals/pay)
