Physician Advisor - 251046

Job Summary Serves as the primary liaison between attending physicians, executive leadership, and managed care payers. The Physician Advisor focuses on Utilization Management, denial prevention, and the optimization of patient throughput to ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from an accredited medical school and residency program.
• Licensure: MD or DO Physician with an active license in the state of Florida (or willing to obtain).
• Clinical Experience: Inpatient clinical practice experience.
• Specialized Experience: Experience in a Physician Advisor role OR 10+ years as a hospitalist
• Background: Strong Hospitalist background is highly preferred to ensure a deep understanding of inpatient workflows.

Schedule and Location

• Shift: Monday - Friday, Standard Business Hours
• Location: Greater Orlando, FL area
