Physical Therapy Assistant Tampa FL
$40 $45/hour 1 2 Days/Week
Are you a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) looking for a flexible part-time opportunity with great pay and no weekend shifts?
Our established multidisciplinary healthcare practice in Tampa, FL is seeking a dependable, patient-focused PTA to join our collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on patient care and wants a flexible 1 2 day-per-week schedule.

What You'll Do
As a PTA, you'll work alongside our providers and multidisciplinary healthcare team to help patients improve mobility, function, and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities include:
Provide therapeutic exercises, stretching, and rehabilitation treatments according to the patient's plan of care
Perform passive, active, and PNF stretching
Assist with manual therapeutic techniques
Administer treatment modalities, including Electrical muscle stimulation (EMS), US and Laser therapy, spinal decompression and traction, Shockwave therapy and WBV
Educate patients on exercises, treatment plans, and ways to actively participate in their recovery
Monitor patient progress and communicate relevant changes to the clinical team
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR
Help maintain efficient patient flow throughout the office
Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient care
Maintain treatment tables and equipment to ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment
Collaborate with physicians, providers, nurses, and ancillary staff to deliver comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of Florida required
Previous experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, chiropractic, or an integrated healthcare setting is a plus
