Allied Universal seeks a part-time Armed Security Guard to patrol and protect client sites in the Administrative & Support & Waste Management sector. In this role, you will conduct armed foot and vehicle patrols, control access, monitor alarms and cameras, and respond to incidents and emergencies with professionalism. You will complete clear reports, enforce site policies, and deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a strong safety and vigilance posture. Patrol assigned facilities and grounds on foot or by vehicle to deter and detect security threats Monitor entrances, exits, and access points; verify identification and control visitor access Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or EMS as needed Conduct safety and security checks, document findings, and complete detailed incident reports Enforce client and site policies while providing professional customer service to employees and visitors Perform armed security duties in accordance with company procedures and all legal requirements Monitor surveillance systems or security technology as required by the post orders Participate in ongoing training, firearms qualification, and safety drills Communicate clearly via radio and written logs to relay information and status updates Support incident prevention through visibility, vigilance, and proactive risk identification Armed security operations Patrol procedures Access control systems CCTV and alarm monitoring Incident reporting and documentation Emergency response and de-escalation Radio communication Customer service in security settings Legal and regulatory compliance for armed guards Risk assessment and site safety checks Valid state armed security guard license/permit State-required firearms permit and ongoing qualification Clean background check and drug screening Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record CPR/First Aid/AED certification preferred Completion of Allied Universal and state-mandated security training5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
