This is a Full-Time, Non-Bargaining, Non-Exempt position based on a 40-hour work week with the starting hourly range of $42.51 - $44.38.

Advanced skill work on journeyman level in repairing, testing, and installing a wide variety of electric meters and related metering equipment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Position involves moderate to heavy work in an outdoor setting with exposure to loud noises, chemicals, debris, air and waterborne pathogens. There is frequent need to stand, walk, sit, talk or hear, use hands, arms and legs, climb, kneel, stoop and lift medium objects (up to 50 pounds), use of ariel devices (bucket truck) and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday. The City of Lake Worth promotes a drug- and alcohol-free work environment.
All full-time employees are considered critical in response to emergency situations and may be deemed essential as needed depending on the situation.
Employees in this position will be required to complete the FEMA Incident Command System (ICS) Certification Levels 100, 200, 700 and 800 within the first six months of employment. Certain positions may be required to attain additional ICS training as needed.
