Regional Business Manager

In this role you will lead Freedom Source operations across a defined region, aligning regional performance with Suffolk's objectives. You will partner with Operations, Preconstruction, and Project teams to drive value through disciplined supply chain execution and vendor strategy. The position focuses on regional delivery, financial outcomes, and scalable growth while maintaining high project quality. You will work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to optimize capacity, resolve issues, and meet key milestones. • Lead regional operations for Freedom Source and ensure alignment with Suffolk's objectives and standards
• Drive adoption and execution of Freedom Source services across multiple regional projects
• Develop and execute regional business strategies with Executive leadership, Operations, and Preconstruction
• Support pursuits, proposals, and client engagement to position Freedom Source as a value driver
• Identify market trends, vendor capabilities, and growth opportunities to expand regional impact
• Oversee delivery of Freedom Source services from buyout through delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, and quality alignment
• Collaborate on product selection, supplier coordination, and pricing transparency
• Provide supply chain expertise throughout the project lifecycle to optimize outcomes
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and clients and ensure high customer satisfaction
• Serve as escalation point for vendor performance, capacity, and project risks
• Own regional budgeting, forecasting, and cost control; monitor financial metrics and optimize profitability
• Recruit, lead, and develop regional team members; coach and provide career development
• Align regional operations with broader strategy and drive process consistency
• Identify and mitigate operational, financial, and supply chain risks and ensure compliance

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field; Master's preferred
• 10+ years in commercial construction, procurement, supply chain, or operations
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and drive financial and operational performance
• Experience partnering with construction operations and project teams; understanding of estimating, scheduling, procurement, contract management, and cost control
• Deep understanding of construction supply chain and procurement best practices
• Experience scaling procurement or supply chain functions in high-growth environments
• Advanced vendor management, strategic sourcing, negotiations, and contract administration skills
• Working knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and field execution preferred
• Strong financial acumen and data-driven decision-making
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to operate in a dynamic environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement/ERP systems; ability to travel regionally
