Breast Imaging / Diagnostic Radiologist

Southern Alliance Radiology (SOAR) is seeking a Breast Imaging / Diagnostic Radiologist to join their growing, physician-led practice in LaGrange, Georgia. This full-time hybrid opportunity offers a blend of breast imaging and diagnostic radiology, structured to provide onsite procedural breast coverage with remote flexibility for diagnostic reading. The role emphasizes a strong breast imaging focus without the fatigue of high-volume 100% mammography models, promoting a sustainable and flexible long-term practice.

Practice Info

• Physician-led practice supporting hospitals across Georgia
• Approximately 60% Breast Imaging / 40% Diagnostic Radiology
• Collaborative environment with fellowship-trained radiologists across Breast Imaging, Neuroradiology, MSK, and Interventional Radiology
• State-of-the-art PACS and workflow tools
• Dedicated operational support teams and 24/7 IT support and troubleshooting

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite coverage for breast procedures and patient-facing imaging days
• Perform remote diagnostic reading outside of onsite procedural coverage

Compensation

• Partnership Track
• Competitive base salary: $500,000-$550,000
• $50K Commencement incentive

Shift & Schedule

• Day/1st Shift
• Full-time (30+ hrs/week)
• Hybrid Remote Opportunity
• Monday-Friday daytime schedule (8a-5p EST)
• Estimated Q6 weekend call

Requirements

• Breast/Mammo fellowship preferred but not required
• Residency training in Diagnostic Radiology from an ACGME accredited U.S. training program
• BE or BC by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
• MQSA preferred for Breast Imaging
• Licensed or ability to obtain a license in the state of Georgia
