AllTruckJobs is working with Averitt Express to find a qualified Dedicated Company Driver in Newnan, Georgia!

Are you an experienced truck driver looking for a stable, predictable route with consistent miles and pay? As a dedicated driver, you'll enjoy the benefits of knowing your customers, regular deliveries, and steady paychecks. With the opportunity to be home on weekends and the potential for additional home time during the week, this position offers the perfect balance of work and life.
Competitive Pay:

• Average earnings of $1,500 per week ($78,000 per year)
• Starting pay: 61.5 cpm
• Average 1,800 - 2,000 miles per week
• Stop pay: $25.50 per stop (average 14 stops per week)
• Additional pay for detention, breakdown and layovers
• Company sponsored per diem program

• Home weekends
• Potential for additional home time during the week

• Monday to Friday
• Start times between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m.
• Pickup at the customer's distribution center, deliver to retail stores, and return with vendor or 3rd part backhaul

• All no-touch freight
• Hauling pet supplies

• Travel through North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama for deliveries and pickups

Requirements

• Must live within a 100-mile radius
• Must have 1-year verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
• Must have Class A CDL
• No convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years
• No convictions for DUI within the past 5 years.
• No suspensions or revocations within the last 5 years.
• No serious violations within the previous 12 months (15 mph or greater, following too close, improper passing, traffic offense committed in a CMV in connection with fatality)
• No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
• No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years

• Open/Close Trailer Doors - force requirement: 46 lbs
• Count freight
• Complete fuel tickets
• Obtain sales leads
• Hook/Unhook trailer - force requirement: 90 lbs (Class A Only)
• Perform pre-trip inspections
• Drive
• Regular predictable attendance
• Enter/Exit a Commercial Motor Vehicle
• Enter/Exit the rear of a trailer from ground level
