This unit includes step-down ICU and telemetry patients, requiring strong clinical judgment and cardiac monitoring skills.Unit Details15-bed unit:3 Step-Down ICU beds (1:3 ratio)12 Telemetry beds (1:4 ratio)Patient population includes progressive care and step-down ICU casesFloating required to other acute care units (Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU, ER as needed)ResponsibilitiesDeliver direct patient care using the nursing processPerform continuous telemetry monitoring and interpretationProvide primary nursing care, including blood glucose monitoringCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomesMaintain accurate documentation in EMREquipment & SystemsEMR: EPICAdditional equipment: BIPAP, continuous cardiac monitoring systems, Pyxis medication systemRequirementsActive RN license (Hawaii license required by start date; must apply upon offer if not currently held)Minimum 2 years of experience (recent acute care required)Experience in Progressive Care and telemetry strongly preferredCertifications:BLS (required)ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (preferred)CloudinfraIT Inc Job ID .
