Job Summary - Adjunct Early Childhood Education Instructor for Fall Semester 2026 to teach in-person at an off-site location in the Ankeny area.
Essential Functions - Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi. Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students. Fosters a safe and civil learning environment. Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies. Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment.
Required Qualifications - Master's degree in Early Childhood Education OR any masters degree in any field plus 12GSHin Early Childhood Development.3-years related work experience with children ages birth – 8yrs.Ability to meet state licensing requirements, including:DCIcheck, Child Abuse Registry check, and medical exam.Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from varied backgrounds.Ability to function effectively in a team environment.
Desired Qualifications - Early Childhood Education teaching experience.
