Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Meridian, Idaho. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Active RN license. Minimum 2 years of nursing experience. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification. STABLE certification (must have completed it at least once). AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification. Previous Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and C-section circulating experience required. Triage experience strongly preferred. 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM. 48 guaranteed hours per week. Weekend and holiday coverage based on unit needs. No on-call or standby requirement. Approximately 120 births per month. Unit includes 10 L&D beds, 4 triage beds, 10 postpartum beds, and 2 C-section operating rooms. Nurse-to-patient ratios: primarily 1:1 in L&D and 1:6 for postpartum couplets. Charge RN, Resource RN, and House Supervisor available each shift. EPIC charting and GE Connect fetal monitoring system. Floating required to L&D units in Nampa and Boise; occasional sitter assignments in Medical-Surgical or ED may be required. Blue scrubs provided. Orientation typically includes 4–6 unit-specific shifts, customized to the traveler’s needs. Maximum of five consecutive shifts per hospital policy. Apply today to learn more about this opportunity!
