?? Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / MT – Travel Contract | Carbondale, IL | Up to $55/hr

Location: Carbondale, Illinois

Facility: Memorial Hospital of Carbondale

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Shift: Days/Nights Available

Pay Rate: $55/hr

Overtime Rate: $65/hr (After 40 Hours)

Start Date: ASAP

What We're Looking For

?? Strong experience with Epic EMR (Required)

?? Lab Generalist experience

?? Comfortable performing Phlebotomy

?? Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred Analyzer Experience

Experience with the following analyzers is preferred (not required):

• Abbott Alinity
• ACL Tops 350
• GeneXpert
• Beckman Coulter
• TORCH Testing
• Clinitek

Key Responsibilities

? Perform laboratory testing across multiple departments

? Collect, process, and analyze blood, urine, fecal, body fluid, and other specimens

? Conduct quality control and troubleshoot laboratory issues

? Review and validate test results

? Maintain laboratory instruments and equipment

? Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals regarding test results and methodologies

? Ensure compliance with laboratory standards and procedures

Qualifications

?? Bachelor's Degree (or Associate Degree for grandfathered personnel)

MLT, MT (ASCP), CLS, or Equivalent Certification Required

?? Strong laboratory generalist skills with phlebotomy experience
