Salary: $100,000 - $135,000 per year

We are a well-established Chicagoland General Contractor delivering ground-up and complex renovation projects across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and mixed-use markets. Superintendents here are trusted leaders on site — supported by organized PM teams, solid preconstruction, and responsive leadership — not micromanaged or buried in paperwork.

The Superintendent is responsible for daily field operations, including safety, schedule, quality, subcontractor coordination, and site logistics. This role is the primary on-site leader and works closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to quality standards.

• 8+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a General Contractor
• Experience leading commercial construction projects (ground-up or major renovations)
• Strong knowledge of sequencing, means & methods, and subcontractor coordination
• Proven safety leadership and ability to enforce site standards
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Procore or similar field management software experience preferred
