Credit Analyst, Director - Global Infrastructure and Project Finance Group - Chicago

As Director, you will lead分析 of infrastructure and project finance transactions and contribute to evolving rating approaches. You'll work with a growing credit team across NA and EMEA, translating complex structures into actionable insights. Your role includes building relationships with sponsors, banks, and advisers, and representing Fitch at industry events. • Lead ratings analysis and research on complex infrastructure and project finance transactions
• Evaluate innovative credit structures and contribute to global rating criteria development
• Identify industry trends and assess their credit impact in reports and presentations
• Gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative data and legal documents for ratings and reports
• Collaborate with other Fitch analytic groups to develop and apply rating approaches to bespoke projects
• Engage with senior management of entities, sponsors, and advisers to produce ratings and reports for publication
• Represent Fitch at industry conferences, webinars, issuer meetings, and media engagements to build external reputation
• Foster connections with other Fitch teams to ensure analytical consistency across multi-group transactions

• Bachelor degree minimum; advanced degree a plus
• 7+ years of experience in capital markets and/or credit analysis
• Strong intellectual curiosity and ability to tackle analytical complexity
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong modelling skills and proficiency with spreadsheet-based financial models
• Ability to understand complex structures, ask probing questions, and manage multiple projects
