Manager - International Tax Business - Financial Services

As an International Tax Manager at RSM, you help financial services clients optimize cross-border tax planning and structuring. You will review U.S. international reporting and develop tax strategies that minimize liabilities for fund investors. You'll lead and mentor ITAX professionals, manage engagements, and collaborate with cross-border teams to deliver high-quality results. • Advise on international tax planning and structuring for financial services clients across multiple jurisdictions
• Review and prepare U.S. international reporting forms (e.g., 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858, 8804/8805, 1042/1042-s, K-2/K-3)
• Build and review tax modelling (GILTI, FTC, FDII, NCTI, OBBA implications) and stay ahead of international tax changes
• Manage complex engagements while translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Lead and develop ITAX professionals including training and mentoring
• Support risk management, billing, budgeting, and performance of engagements
• Leverage tax software tools and optimize processes to improve efficiency
• Assist with business development and cross-group collaboration to serve clients better

• Bachelor in Accounting
• CPA or JD
• Minimum five years in Public Accounting with International Tax focus
• At least two years in financial services
• Experience with international tax compliance forms listed (5471, 5472, 8865, 8858, 1118, 1042/1042-s, K-2/K-3)
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements and communicate effectively with clients
• Working knowledge of inbound/outbound tax structuring and compliance for partnerships, foreign tax credits, and worldwide tax minimization
