Sr. Analyst, Business Strategy & Operations

In this role you will act as the analytical and operational engine for Cboe's global Market Data Administration, partnering with senior leadership to shape strategy and execution. You'll own metrics, reporting cadences, and the operating rhythm, turning data into actionable decisions. As a builder, you'll automate manual processes, design KPI frameworks, and drive capacity planning and financial modeling. This position blends technical analytics with business operations to scale market data capabilities globally.

• Partner with senior market data leadership to translate strategy into executable plans with clear owners and milestones
• Own the organization's operating cadence including planning cycles, reviews, and leadership meetings
• Develop business cases for headcount, tooling, and technology investments and shepherd them to implementation
• Prepare executive-ready analyses and memos for senior leaders and cross-divisional stakeholders
• Design and maintain KPI and metrics framework; source data and ensure trustworthy reporting
• Query operational data across databases to answer complex questions and build dashboards to automate recurring reporting
• Model capacity, workforce, revenue at risk, and scenario analyses
• Lead operational planning, workforce analysis, and capacity modeling for a global team
• Assess organizational structure and processes; implement changes to improve throughput and scalability
• Collaborate with Sales, Client Experience, Market Data Services, Product, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Engineering to resolve cross-team issues
• Escalate operational risks and provide thought leadership on operational excellence and scalability
• Support technology adoption across entitlements, usage reporting, billing, and administration platforms

• 5+ years in business operations, strategy and operations, data analytics, consulting, or a related analytical role
• Advanced Excel skills with large datasets, pivot tables, Power Query, and complex formulas
• Fluency with databases; SQL experience is a plus
• Proficiency with data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools (Sigma, Power BI, Tableau)
• Ability to bridge technical analysis and business decision-making; strong communication for senior audiences
• Strong business acumen and ambition to develop into a skilled business operator
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to prepare analyses for senior audiences
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects, adapt to changing priorities, and escalate risks early

• Experience in financial markets or market data is a plus
