Ombudsman Educational Services seeks an Elementary School Teacher to serve at-risk and nontraditional learners in a structured, supportive setting. In this role, you will deliver standards-based, personalized instruction in core elementary subjects, manage a small classroom, and adapt lessons to meet diverse academic and behavioral needs. You will monitor progress using data, support IEP goals, and collaborate with school districts, families, and support staff. This position offers the opportunity to grow skills in special education, behavior support, and student advocacy while helping students reengage and succeed. Plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction in core elementary subjects to at-risk and nontraditional students. Differentiate lessons and provide personalized support to meet diverse learning and behavioral needs. Use assessments and data to monitor student progress, adjust instruction, and document outcomes. Support implementation of IEP and behavior plans in coordination with special education staff. Maintain a structured, positive, and safe classroom environment that promotes engagement and growth. Collaborate with school districts, families, and internal teams to support student success and transitions. Integrate educational technology and varied instructional strategies to enhance learning. Participate in professional development focused on special education, behavior support, and student advocacy.
