We’re currently seeking a full-time, in-person Special Education Teacher to support a school in DuPage County, Illinois for the 2026–2027 school year.

Position Details:

• Start Date: ASAP

• End Date: 05/28/2027

• Location: DuPage County, Illinois

• On-Site, 35 hours per week

• School Year: 2026-2027

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois State LBS1 Teaching Certification for Special Education.

• Experience working within inclusive or specialized classroom settings.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers and support staff.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to each student’s needs.

• Collaborate with general education staff and support teams to design inclusive lesson plans.

• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary.

• Manage classroom behavior and facilitate social skill development.

• Communicate regularly with families and support staff regarding student development.
