Director - Global Business Services

In this role you will lead operational excellence across Wesco's Global Business Services, deploying strategic priorities that drive transformation and change management. You will collaborate with Global Process Owners and business leaders to design, manage, and optimize end-to-end processes and controls. You will oversee the GBS data office to extract insights and fuel continuous improvement. You will align with the Digital Data Platform and corporate strategy, building strong governance and cross-functional partnerships. • Identify opportunities to centralize, standardize, and scale GBS processes and drive automation
• Partner with GBS operations and IT to implement systems, controls, and reduce technical debt
• Develop and maintain GBS roadmap and business cases with timelines and interdependencies
• Manage overall cost, benefits tracking, and realization of GBS initiatives
• Build a culture of continuous improvement and keep SOPs current
• Define SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics with stakeholders
• Maintain alignment with enterprise strategy and Digital Data Platform (DDP)
• Ensure compliance with group policies and statutory requirements through strong controls
• Communicate progress to stakeholders and solicit feedback

• Bachelor or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business, IT or related discipline
• 7 years cross-functional business leadership experience
• 5+ years leadership in shared services/GBS
• 5 years managing an outsourced provider (BPO)
• Strong understanding of core financial processes (AP, AR, credit, management reporting)
• Strong business acumen and ability to communicate operating results to senior management
• Ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships and work independently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving background
• Ability to influence business decisions
• Willingness to travel 0-25%
