Overview
A litigation boutique law firm is seeking a highly experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to join its Chicago office. The paralegal will work closely with attorneys and collaborate with a team of four other paralegals to provide comprehensive litigation support. This position is primarily onsite in downtown Chicago and plays a key role in case preparation, discovery, trial support, and client service.
Responsibilities

• Proofread, edit, and cite-check memoranda and briefs.
  
• File documents in state and federal electronic filing systems.
  
• Assist with discovery, including document production and management of electronically stored information.
  
• Support deposition preparation and management, including use of relevant software tools.
  
• Coordinate all aspects of trial preparation, including onsite trial management (may require travel).
  
• Provide project management support to ensure deadlines and litigation milestones are met.

Required

• Minimum of 10 years of litigation paralegal experience, including multiple trial experiences.
  
• Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-up and project management skills.
  
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  
• Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team.
  
• Strong interpersonal skills with professionalism, diplomacy, and tact.

Preferred

• Paralegal Certificate or bachelor's degree.
  
• Experience with document management systems.
  
• Familiarity with Westlaw and deposition processing software.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $115,000 - $140,000
  
• Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday), with preference for additional onsite presence.
