Coverage Litigation Attorney

Mid- to senior-level insurance coverage litigation role for an attorney with 5–10 years of experience handling complex coverage disputes for insurer clients nationwide. The position combines litigation strategy and coverage advisory work in a fast-paced, collaborative, hybrid environment with opportunities for growth and leadership.

Coverage Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute litigation strategy for insurance coverage disputes and class actions
• Analyze insurance policies, claims, and coverage issues; provide coverage advice
• Conduct advanced legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and motions
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests, interrogatories, and other litigation documents
• Take and defend depositions; attend court hearings and mediations
• Supervise and mentor junior associates and paralegals

Coverage Litigation Attorney Requirements:

• Admission to practice in New York (New Jersey admission preferred)
• 5–10 years of insurance coverage litigation experience
• Strong experience handling depositions and discovery
• State and federal court litigation experience
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple time-sensitive matters
