Attorney Professional Liability Litigation Hybrid

A Chicago-based litigation practice is seeking an attorney to join its Construction and Design Professional Liability practice. Candidates with 5+ years of experience are preferred, although attorneys with approximately 3+ years of highly relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Handle construction litigation and professional liability defense matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and written analysis.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
• Communicate directly with clients and assist with litigation strategy.

Qualifications

• Construction litigation experience required.
• Professional liability defense experience involving architects and engineers preferred.
• Strong writing, research, analytical, and communication skills.
• An active Illinois law license and good standing are required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $115,000–$190,000.
