Commercial Account Manager/ Business Development Manager

In this role you drive growth in high-end AV solutions by developing new business and expanding existing accounts. You work closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction. You will conduct site visits, create technical diagrams, and prepare compelling proposals to win projects. You'll represent the company at industry events and manage the sales cycle from prospecting to order placement, contributing to national growth. • Develop new business through cold calling, internet outreach, and other channels
• Interface with customers to understand needs and identify opportunities
• Conduct site visits, document field conditions, and verify room dimensions
• Prepare initial system descriptions and equipment lists for engineers
• Create AV functional diagrams of major components
• Generate proposals with scope, schedule, and payment terms
• Manage sales orders, contracts, and project meetings
• Develop and execute territory sales strategies; forecast demand
• Act as escalation point for customer issues during product use
• Deliver technical/product presentations and demonstrations
• Attend networking/industry events
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• 3-5 years of low voltage, AV, lighting, and/or shades sales in commercial or residential settings
• AA degree or equivalent
• Annual sales quota of $3M
• Travel to client sites and events as needed
• Proven success in developing clients and generating multi-million-dollar sales
• Strong written and oral communication and relationship-building skills
• Good decision-making and negotiation abilities
