Overview

In this role you lead DFA's enterprise AI program, defining the portfolio strategy and roadmap to deliver measurable value. You ensure alignment with business goals, responsible AI practices, and governance. You oversee a pipeline of high-impact AI use cases across units and drive products from ideation to adoption. You partner with the Enterprise AI Architect and the AI Business Relationship Manager to scale AI and develop the talent needed for widespread adoption. You'll balance innovation with compliance and build an AI-enabled, data-driven culture.

Responsibilities
  • Define and evolve the enterprise AI portfolio strategy and roadmap aligned to priorities and measurable value
  • Identify, prioritize and manage a pipeline of high-impact AI use cases across business units from ideation through adoption and retirement
  • Own AI product prioritization balancing innovation with retraining, debt, and compliance
  • Embed responsible AI principles into product decisions and lifecycle
  • Partner with the Enterprise AI Architect on technical direction, reusable assets, and standards
  • Partner with the AI Business Relationship Manager to translate priorities into plans, milestones, and delivery cadences
  • Act as liaison among business, technical teams, and governance bodies; translate needs into requirements and success metrics
  • Define and monitor KPIs tied to business outcomes; lead continuous improvement via performance data and user feedback
  • Collaborate with legal, risk, compliance, and governance to meet regulatory standards and support risk assessments
  • Work with IT on AI enablement and adoption-building literacy, training, and a culture of responsible AI; coach and develop DFA team members
Key requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in business, data science, computer science, or related curriculum (or equivalent)
  • 5+ years in business, data, or technology roles with people management experience
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and enterprise-scale AI or technology initiatives
  • Food, agriculture, consumer products, or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Advanced understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle, responsible AI, and enterprise AI product management
  • Proficient knowledge of data and AI platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Copilot, Azure) and cloud architectures
  • Skill in prioritizing AI use cases by value, risk, and readiness
  • Ability to translate business needs into product requirements and success metrics
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, backlog management, and roadmap planning
  • Knowledge of AI regulatory and risk frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO) and compliance
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with leaders and external partners
