Finance Manager - New Orleans East Hospital

In this role you drive the hospital's annual budget and financial planning, coordinating across departments to forecast operating and capital needs. You deliver timely financial reporting, identify efficiency opportunities, and lead process improvements that boost revenues while cutting costs. You mentor senior leaders and frontline staff in budgeting and forecasting, shaping the hospital's financial strategy and performance. This position blends analytical rigor with cross-functional collaboration in a mission-driven healthcare setting.

• Lead and manage the budget process for the hospital, including operating and capital budgets, ensuring timely deadlines
• Coordinate routine and periodic internal and external financial reporting
• Analyze data to identify improvement opportunities and design reengineering plans to increase revenue and reduce costs
• Support productivity monitoring and reporting, providing actionable insights
• Mentor Vice Presidents & Directors in departmental forecasting and prepare current year projections
• Provide training and coaching for new staff and oversee related budget systems
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• 5 years of healthcare financial planning and analysis
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Advanced Excel skills
• Proficiency with budget systems and ERP systems
