  • Openings: 1DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a Louisiana or Compact RN license and the ability to work night shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.Details
    • 12-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit in an inpatient hospital setting
    • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45-07:15)
    • Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday
    • Floating required to all inpatient units
    • Alaris Pumps used on the unit
    • No on-call responsibilities
    • Block scheduling is not available on this unitRequirements
      • Active Louisiana or Compact RN license required
      • Current BLS certification required (must be AHA-issued)
      • Current ACLS certification required for charge nurse roles (must be AHA-issued)
      • EKG/telemetry background preferred
      • Less than 2 years of experience will be considered
      • Must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this positionAdditional Information

        • Candidates must be comfortable with potential emergency team assignments, which may require staying on-site or serving on a relief team during emergency events
        • Any RTO requests must be disclosed during the interview process
