This role is ideal for a provider who enjoys building patient relationships and managing chronic conditions within a collaborative, team-based environment. The position offers a potential for permanent placement for Board Certified Family Medicine physicians.

Practice Info

• Setting: Outpatient Family Medicine
• Patient Population: All ages, though primarily treats adults
• Patient Volume: 20-24 patients per day
• EMR: Epic
• Support: Collaborative practice environment with APP support and additional attending physicians onsite
• Procedures: No procedures required; bread-and-butter outpatient Family Medicine

Responsibilities

• Building patient relationships
• Managing chronic conditions
• Occasional same-day sick visits may be required

Shift & Schedule

• Schedule: 4.5 days of direct patient care and 0.5 day of administrative/non-patient-facing time each week

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Active Louisiana license preferred; open to providers eligible through the IMLC
• Potential for permanent placement for Board Certified Family Medicine physicians
