    What You'll Do:
    
    • Provide inpatient rounding and surgical consults for cardiovascular and thoracic procedures
    • Cover emergency room call as needed
    • Participate in clinic 1 day per week, managing 15-20 post-op patients
    • Assist with complex cardiovascular surgeries, including CABG, VATS, thoracotomies, lobectomies, AAA repairs, arterial bypasses, and aortic valve replacements
    • Collaborate with a team of 2 surgeons and 3 advanced practice providers
    • Ensure excellent patient care and safety during procedures and recovery
      What You Need:
      
      • Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Louisiana
      • Experience in cardiovascular or thoracic surgery preferred
      • Strong team collaboration and communication skills
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
        About the Assignment:Join a reputable healthcare provider in Lafayette, LA, offering specialized cardiovascular and thoracic surgical services. The team performs approximately 90 surgeries and procedures monthly, providing ample opportunities for professional growth and meaningful patient impact.
