As a Senior Family Law Litigation Paralegal, you will play a critical role managing all aspects of family law litigation—from case inception through trial and post-judgment proceedings. You will work closely with attorneys handling a high-volume caseload across divorce, custody, support, alimony, property division, paternity, and domestic relations matters.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle litigation for complex family law matters, including high-conflict divorces and custody disputes
Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, affidavits, discovery, and correspondence
Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, witness lists, and supporting materials
Conduct legal research and factual investigations
Coordinate document production, e-discovery, and case organization
Handle all phases of discovery (interrogatories, requests for production/admission, depositions)
Assist attorneys at trial, hearings, and mediation sessions
Maintain case calendars, court deadlines, and docket tracking
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and experts
Mentor and support junior paralegals and staff
Bachelor's degree required, Paralegal Certificate, MBA, JD, preferred
10+ years of hands-on Family Law litigation experience in Massachusetts
Strong knowledge of the Massachusetts Rules of Civil Procedure and Domestic Relations procedures
Experience managing complex, high-asset, or high-conflict cases
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with case management systems and e-filing platforms
Strong organizational, writing, and analytical capabilities
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative legal team
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
High level of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive matters
