Litigation Attorney Plainville, MA 02762 - Hybrid Full Time We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney licensed in Massachusetts with a strong background in the residential foreclosure process. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing foreclosure-related litigation, including case file and title review, and court representation. Manage cases related to foreclosure, title curative/title claims, and post-judgment litigation
Review title issues and identify resolution strategies
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, opinions, and memoranda
Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and other appearances
Analyze cases, handle discovery, and develop litigation strategies
Communicate effectively with clients, providing legal guidance and updates
Maintain case management reports and oversee paralegal coordination
Achieve monthly billable hour requirements and review pre-bills
Ensure compliance with all firm and court requirements
Must-Haves
Active Massachusetts Bar Membership (in good standing)
Strong work ethic and willingness to collaborate as part of a team
Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively and efficiently
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of residential foreclosure process and general real estate law
Hands-on litigation experience, including title curative/title claims and post-judgment litigation
Ability to review and analyze pre- and post-judgment title issues
Proficiency in drafting substantive pleadings, motions, and memoranda
Excellent oral and written communication and courtroom presentation skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience handling FDCPA, RESPA, and TILA claims
Prior work in creditor rights
Admission in Rhode Island or New Hampshire Bars
Commercial real estate law experience

Minimum 3-5 years of civil litigation/trial experience

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar
