The job of the Health and Wellness Team Leader is to oversee the entire department which includes cosmetics, skincare, and traditional Health and Wellness items. This role is responsible for training and developing a team of employees, ensuring they are going above and beyond expectations make products available, share knowledge and provide incredible service.

Customer (What We Believe)

  • Assist customers to locate products, offer suggestions, and answer questions; direct healthcare related questions to a Pharmacist
  • Work hands-on with employees, ensure they have the resources and knowledge to provide incredible service to products including skin care, cosmetic, vitamins, and other beauty supplies

Product (What We Do)

  • Use knowledge of product, plan-o-grams, and trends to plan, and create innovative, eye-catching, well-merchandised displays; forecast seasonal and holiday needs to drive sales; rotate products, check for damaged goods, use expiration date program to ensure freshness of healthcare and vitamin products
  • Plan and execute events focused on seasonal and priority items; partner with Pharmacy, Natures, and other departments to create excitement and educate customers on unique offerings
  • Collaborate with multiple (20+) vendors

Results (What We Measure)

  • Oversee all Health & Wellness operations, including ordering, scheduling, and managing payroll, ensure efficiency; relay pertinent information to Store Management
  • Maintain department appearance, product levels, functionality, and efficiency
  • Ensure proper handling of products, use of equipment; ensure food & human safety, simplification, company policies and procedures are followed

Work Environment

  • Work includes walking, standing for up to 4 hours without a break, kneeling, repetitive hand and arm movements, occasional heavy lifting, bending, and reaching, along with continuous interaction with customers and co-workers. The average weight range of items lifted is 5-15 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of 50 pounds rarely. You may also work in General Merchandise or Card Shop. May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction)
  • Work may include use of hand pallet jack, power pallet jack, power walkie-reach, scissors lift or WAV unit. Employer certification required for use of power equipment
