Full-Time | Office Hours (some evenings/weekends)

Travel: Greater Chesapeake Area

About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Behavioral Health Clinician to support both clinical care and team leadership within our growing Behavioral Health program.

This is a hybrid role (60% clinical / 40% leadership) where you'll work directly with individuals while also guiding and coaching a team of licensed clinicians. You'll play a key role in shaping services, supporting staff, and driving high-quality, person-centered care.

What You'll Do

Clinical (60%)

  • Provide mental health counseling to individuals with disabilities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor behavioral support plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective care

Leadership (40%)

  • Lead, coach, and support a team of Behavioral Health Clinicians
  • Oversee operations of one or more counseling suites
  • Partner with senior leadership to grow and enhance services
  • Contribute as a member of the Leadership Council

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience providing behavioral health support in community-based settings
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of person-centered planning and self-direction
  • Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and lead with a solutions-focused mindset
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to give clear, constructive feedback
  • Comfortable navigating complex, fast-moving environments

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
  • Active LCPC or LCSW-C (Maryland)
  • Eligible to serve as a Board-approved clinical supervisor (MD)
  • Valid driver's license + reliable transportation
