Dates: ASAP - OngoingWe are seeking a skilled Cardiologist for a locum tenens opportunity near Ocean City, MD. This position involves both scheduled clinical hours and call coverage in an inpatient setting. The role is ideal for a physician who can manage a high patient volume and is comfortable with both inpatient rounding and call responsibilities.Position Overview:

• Position Type: Locum Tenens

  • Coverage Dates: Begin ASAP and continue ongoing, with one week of coverage per month
  • Practice Setting: Inpatient
  • Patients Per Shift: 30
  • Bed In Department: 15
  • Office Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Call Coverage: Backup call from hotel, 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM
  • Rounding: Assigned patients, including inpatient rounding and post-op follow-upsQualifications:
    • Board Certification: Required
    • Fellowship: Required
    • Minimum Board Certification: Certified
    • Licensure: Licensed in MD or IMLC
    • Certifications Required: ACLS, ATLS, BLS
    • Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60 days
    • Temporary Privileges: Available
    • Hospital Stroke Certification: Yes
    • EMR System: EpicAdditional Details:
      • Coverage Needs: Includes both scheduled clinical hours and call coverage
      • Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
