Develop and validate computer-aided engineering simulations to assess durability and structural performance of vehicle components and systems. Use finite element analysis and multi-body dynamics tools to identify issues, analyze test failures, and recommend corrective actions while collaborating with design and test engineering teams. Develop and execute simulations to assess durability performance of vehicle structures and components. Build and analyze full-vehicle models using finite element analysis and multi-body dynamics tools. Collaborate with design engineering to align solutions with durability and strength requirements. Investigate physical validation test failures and recommend corrective actions. Post-process simulation data, including damage calculations and load histograms. Correlate simulation results with physical test data and present findings to cross-functional teams.
