Hospitalist Physician

ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital in Adrian, Michigan, is seeking a full-time Hospital Medicine Physician to join its established team. This role offers the opportunity to provide both ICU and non-ICU coverage, contributing to a collaborative environment focused on delivering quality care to the local community. Practice Info

• Join a close-knit, well-established team of 5 physicians and 4 APPs.
• Supported by a clinical performance nurse and practice coordinator.
• Routinely participate in hospital committees, including the medical executive committee, quality care council, pharmacy and therapeutics, and infection prevention and control.
• Work in a 9-bed open ICU.
• Day team consists of 2 physicians (one ICU hospitalist and one non-ICU hospitalist) and an advanced practice provider.

Responsibilities

• Work both ICU covering and non ICU covering shifts.
• Manage low acuity ICU patients, including critical interventions such as intubations, central lines, and vents.
• Perform procedures during the day as the ICU covering physician and provide backup for the night.

• Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.

Requirements

• Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine.
• Ability to manage low acuity ICU patients, including critical interventions such as intubations, central lines, and vents.
• New graduates and residents are welcome to apply.
