We are seeking a clinically driven Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in the Livonia area. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced physicians and clinicians while providing diagnostic swallowing evaluations that directly impact patient outcomes and quality of life.
The ideal candidate is passionate about dysphagia management, values collaboration, and enjoys working independently while serving as a clinical resource for facility staff and interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
Perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS)
Analyze study results and develop evidence-based recommendations
Educate patients, families, and facility staff regarding swallowing disorders and management strategies
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation teams, dietary departments, and facility leadership
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices
Serve as a clinical ambassador for CDX Care through professionalism, communication, and exceptional patient care
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Experience performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS/MBSS) required
Experience evaluating and treating dysphagia in adult and geriatric populations preferred
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required, or ability to obtain prior to start date
Ability to report to the Livonia office location
Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
