An Opportunity, Not Just a Job: Kelly has embarked on several projects that will change the future and business strategy of the company. These projects are managed by senior leaders with steering teams for each project. The Project Coordinator will assist the VP- Talent Strategy (one of the projects) and the VP- Change Leadership who coordinates all of the projects. The Project Coordinator has a pivotal role to play in coordinating unique team and group sessions, communication and marketing strategies, and digital content. The Talent Strategy Project is enterprise-wide and crosses all of our business lines and functions- the Project Coordinator will be the point person for engaging and communicating far and wide inside and outside of our company. Responsibilities: Some traditional administrative duties (light) such as scheduling, expense reports, travel and other tasks as assigned. Participation in Talent Strategy and Change Leadership meetings as a team member Indirect support of the “Talent Experience” steering committee and team schedule (not direct reports but a decentralized team) Setting up face-to-face meetings and workshops, including all necessary logistics (hosting forums and meetings) Following up with internal stakeholders on deadlines and deliverables as necessary Working with other internal schedules to ensure prioritization of talent project activities Setting up and maintaining Microsoft group/team/SharePoint spaces that will include document archives for the project but also interactive forums Responsible for posting and coordinating a host of different communications and engagement activities to create visibility around “the voice of talent” Following up with groups and individuals on assigned “call to action” activities that will be planned (including summarizing or tabulating results) Setting up customer relationship data in either Microsoft or Salesforce Editing or modifying written communication as necessary Engaging in the “talent forum” as an active and visible member of the “talent community” Building relationships and engaging directly at all levels within the organization as one of the project’s ambassadors Gifts & Talents Requested: Attention to detail (needed for scheduling, hosting meetings, and written work) Enjoys and is good at writing (copy, emails, meeting notes, etc) Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at the same time and to ensure individual tasks are completed on time and in line with expectations Natural affinity and strong ability to “figure out” new technologies and use them Doesn’t mind working with minimal direction or within a changing environment with multiple stakeholders Zest for learning new things and resilience in the face of failure (a belief that mistakes are learning opportunities) Enjoys engaging with people and building effective business relationships (internally and externally) Demonstrated resourcefulness and creativity in solving problems and overcoming barriers or challenges Interest or experience in recruitment, workforce, talent acquisition, future of work issues, or career counseling would be a plus but not a requirement Location: Ideally would physically work in the HQ in Troy, Michigan (but candidates with a strong background and a track record successfully working remotely will be considered) About Kelly Services® As a global leader in providing workforce solutions, Kelly Services (Nasdaq: KELYA, KELYB) and its subsidiaries, offer a comprehensive array of outsourcing and consulting services as well as world-class staffing on a temporary, temporary-to-hire, and direct-hire basis.
