The Activities, Transportation, and Grounds Coordinator provides leadership, coordination, and direct support for the District's student activities program, transportation services, and grounds operations. The Coordinator works collaboratively with students, staff, families, and community partners to ensure safe, efficient, and student-centered programs and services that support the District's mission and goals.
Essential FunctionsMaintain positive relationships with students, staff, families, and community members. Attend meetings, trainings, and events as assigned. Support district safety initiatives and emergency response procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
QualificationsRequired: Associate degree or equivalent combination of education or experience. Valid Minnesota driver's license. Ability to obtain and maintain required Minnesota school bus driving qualifications, including a Class B Commercial Driver's License with appropriate endorsements. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Ability to respond to and resolve concerns from parents, students, coaches, and community members in a timely, professional, and solution-focused manner.
Preferred: Experience in education, student activities, transportation, operations, grounds management, or a related field. Bachelor's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Business Administration, Recreation Management, Operations Management, or a related field. Experience coordinating activities, transportation, facilities, operations, or grounds programs. Experience supervising staff and managing schedules.

Working ConditionsWork is performed in office, school, transportation, and outdoor environments. The position requires travel between district facilities, attendance at activities and events outside normal business hours, and work in varying weather conditions. The position may require operating district vehicles, buses, grounds equipment, and related machinery as needed.
