Deliver pastoral care addressing the spiritual and emotional needs of patients, families, and staff.

Arrange or provide religious rites as requested.
Oversee specific departmental programs and collaborate with colleagues on service development.
Contribute to spiritual awareness through writing devotions and communications.
Assist patients and families in understanding and executing Advanced Medical Directives.
Participate in patient rounds and care conferences, offering insights on spiritual dynamics.
Engage in ongoing professional development and self-care practices.
Education and Certification:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Master of Divinity or equivalent from an accredited seminary or university.
Ordination and ecclesiastical endorsement from the appropriate religious body.
Minimum of 1 unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE); 4 units including a 1-year residency preferred.
Board eligibility by APC or NACC required; Clinical Membership in ACPE preferred.
Experience:
At least 5 years in parish-based ministry preferred.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a healthcare-related field preferred.
