Associate Director Finance - Remote

As Associate Director of Finance, you will lead the West Region Shared Services SG&A finance team, directing forecasting, planning, and cost management. You partner with national and enterprise finance to ensure accurate chargebacks and allocations while driving savings opportunities and financial transparency. You will manage a small FP&A team, influence senior leaders, and shape scalable finance processes in a complex, matrixed environment. • Lead and develop two FP&A managers within the West Region Shared Services SG&A finance team
• Own forecasting, budgeting, annual planning, month-end reporting, variance analysis, and financial performance for West Region Shared Services and chargeback areas
• Partner with national and enterprise finance to understand chargeback methodologies, challenge assumptions, and drive appropriate outcomes
• Identify and advance chargeback savings and cost reduction opportunities through analysis of trends, utilization, and unit costs
• Oversee allocation of shared services costs to sub-regions and markets, including governance of methodologies and communication of changes
• Provide executive-level reporting, explanations, and insights on cost performance, risks, and opportunities
• Oversee month-end activities, issue resolution, and reconciliation across financial reporting systems
• Lead financial support for transfers within West Region and with national/enterprise organizations
• Oversee workforce planning, headcount reviews, and related financial analysis for supported functions
• Develop and maintain recurring reporting packages, forecast models, and tools to improve visibility and accountability
• Drive process improvement, automation, and standardization to strengthen financial controls
• Serve as finance partner to West Region leaders and cross-functional teams on shared services, chargebacks, and cost management
• Lead special projects, cost analyses, and business cases aligned with Total West Region priorities

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
• 8+ years in FP&A, accounting, finance, or related leadership roles
• 3+ years of people leadership experience
• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting, variance analysis, and financial modeling
• Strong understanding of SG&A, shared services, cost allocations, chargebacks, and financial governance
• Advanced Excel skills for large datasets
• Ability to analyze complex cost structures and influence across a matrixed organization
• Executive communication skills for presenting to senior leaders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to build cross-functional relationships and drive accountability across teams
