Weekend 1st Shift Machine Operator

Temp-to-Hire

Hopkins, MN

Friday/Saturday/Sunday: 6am-6:30 pm

Job Duties:

• Operate assigned production and manufacturing machines and auxiliary equipment including:
• Load and unload product or parts
• Adjust equipment as required to produce acceptable product
• Conduct quality checks to assure acceptability of product or process using standard precision measuring equipment
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprint

Knowledge of standard machine shop inspection equipment such as:

• Calipers, Micrometers, visual comparator and CMM.
• Utilize appropriate material handling to prevent degradation of product during the production process

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver 20 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry out normal activities in a production environment
