Technical Business Analyst

Job Summary

Our client a leading communications provider is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join their team! This position is located Hybrid in Maryland Heights, Missouri.

Core Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Product, Customer Operations, UX/UI, Development, and Business Intelligence teams to gather and analyze requirements, identify edge cases, and ensure solutions meet both business and operational needs.
• Evaluate business requests, identify gaps and edge cases, and ensure proposed solutions align with the broader application landscape.
• Document user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements within Jira and Confluence
• Collaborate with development teams throughout the SDLC, providing clarification and validating delivered functionality
• Perform functional testing, regression testing, and release validation prior to production deployments
• Utilize Postman to validate APIs and support integration testing

Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)

• Experience as a Technical Business Analyst supporting software development initiatives
• Strong requirements gathering and business analysis skills with the ability to think critically about impacts and edge cases
• Experience working in Agile environments using Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian tools
• Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman

Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)

• Experience with Splunk
• Experience creating technical mappings or integration documentation is a plus but not required

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $100,000 and $112,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
