Museum Director

Plan and supervises all museum operations to include exhibits, conservations, and management of collections.

Responsible for long-range planning and development of the Museum complex.

Responsible for ensuring all property through non-appropriated monies, but not entered into the local property book.

Ensure that subordinate museum curators supervise the care and preservation of a wide variety of artifacts through proper storage/display techniques, and the implementation of conservation measures.

Manage the submission of work orders into the Department of Public Works (DPW) work request process to compete for sustainment, restoration, or modernization funding (SRM).

Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work; Assign work to subordinates; Evaluate work performance of subordinates.
